| keep things just as they are - buy a season ticket in the stand if you want cover, this would bring extra money into the club, we don't need to be spending money on pointless things like this. |

I believe the lights are paid for. We just need a refund on the P. A. system
The new Gas Main has added to the bill, but the failure to add terracing into the appeal is baffling. |

Big resounding YES to covered terraces……………from me and the nearly 3000 people who watched the Bedford v London Welsh match in atrocious conditions back in May _________________ Melvyn Spencer

I would rather not have the club fund a covered terrace so it can spend the money on players and other essentials, however a fans fund would seem to be a good idea.
I understood that a covered terrace would cost around £150k, would it not be cheaper to simply purchase hats for everyone like me who likes to stand out there, problem solved.
Just got my ground season ticket, roll on next season, see you all out there in the fresh air.

Crowds are not big enough to warrent one and anyway, with global warming, we won't need one soon. _________________ I want you all to sort yourselves alphabetically by height, pair up in 3's and line up in a circle. |

global warming? not this year
seriously if we all wanted a covered terrace that badly then we'd start an appeal and give 'big'!
but to be honest I reckon I get a soaking once, twice or three times a year, which I don't consider that bad, and I always dress for the occasion
would be nice one day! |

The issue is not just cover, on balance just terracing would be a good start. Paying your money should enable you to actually see the game, those who stand several rows deep cannot. The club always demand more spectators, if they could see the game they might come.
Maybe that's why the seats in the stand are not all on the same level !!
I believe Jersey are creating terracing for 1,000. Do feel free to report back after our visit. |

Like Stephen, I can't work out how to vote.
Can you give some help to the technologically-challenged please, Jonathan. |

Obviously you were logged in as you posted a message.
Blueherts/Stephen, there should be a voting button at the top of the page next to 'Yes' or 'No'. Think that's how it works on a Poll thread. Don't panic you've still got 25+days to go. Oh and you can only vote once. _________________ It's Jonathan really, dodgy keyboard when I registered |

| Log in on the message summary page. Once logged in open the Covered Terrace page. You should then see the voting buttons. |
