I for one enjoyed the 13-man rugby. I thought it was fast and the quality of ball handling was very good.
As we have to wait until September for the new season, why not bring League to GR perhaps me might get some more money in the coffers?

The Tigers looked good today, some very fast play.
The opposition and a few "supporters" did not look so good.

I wandered down to Newnham Avenue last season and enjoyed the game and the banter.
If it brings continuity to GR, I don't see the problem. And hopefully they will be in the mix of things when our season restarts and we can lend even more support!!
Good luck Tigers. _________________ Blessed are the cracked, for it's us who let the light in. |

I also enjoyed the season last year at Newnham Avenue. It would be nice to see Goldington Road used more in the summer.
The regular season finshes at the begining of August (the 1st), maybe when we have our first pre seaon game (or again depending if Tigers were at home in play offs)...maybe an idea to have a game then?
Meanwhile I hope that anyone who enjoyed the league game goes and gives it another try this season. |
