There is a letter on the Club News that you might care to read from Kramer, who with Anna , are going through a very stressful time at the moment.
I am sure I speak for everyone on forum when I say our thoughts are with Kramer and the family during this time and to let them know we are all thinking of them. _________________ Devon Lady |

A nice letter from Kramer - such a shame the content is not one in a happier subject
Given there is a fundraising drive, would it take much logistical effort for the club to organise a bucket collection at a home game for fans to donate whatever they feel they wish? The total cash could then be donated by an individual to the cause.
Bristol this weekend may be too close to organise but what about the Doncaster game? Just a thought..... |

a bucket collection would be a great idea! not every reads the web, and not every one will be aware of the situation.
I can still remember the one legged try!
just proves that once you've played a few times for the blues, you're always part of the bigger blues family! |

There will be a collection in the marquee after the game, please see me if you'd like to donate.
Also after the game in the marquee there will be a gathering of Bedford 'Ronaki' friends so please feel free to join us. We shall have a message book should you want to put down your best wishes.
Quite bizarrely, Kramer's best man at his wedding is running the line for the match.
Hope to see as many people there as possible. _________________ Sam Roberts |

Many thanks Sam.
May I put forward the following suggestions:-
1. Your response be placed on the home page of Bedford Blues.
2. Alternatively the box advertiusing the match for Bristol, could be used- an idea for future bucket collections too.
3. A board maybe inside the main gate with what you have written on forum. A crowd of 2000 how many of them look on forum?
4. Sound system, with the best will in the world, it is VERY difficult at times to hear announcements in the stand. I know we keep on about this but can something be done. I appreciate the reporters say it affects their systems etc etc but...
Thanks Sam for your update it is appreciated. _________________ Devon Lady |

Posted on Facebook from Kramer and Anna Ronki:
Kia ora whānau,
Just wanted to let everyone know that we have had a very positive outcome into Kiriana's recovery... we received a phone call this afternoon from our Oncologist saying that there are no more cancer cells in Kiriana's little body and that the tumor has gone. A massive weight has been lifted off our shoulders, we are happy, tears of joy were flowing this afternoon with our sister, Casey Clarke Massey and everyone in Whare Rimu are happy as! Our little girl has been sooooooo strong throughout the ordeal and she has put up with a lot of crap over the last 7 months and we are so happy for her for fighting this battle... but in saying this we would like to thank you all for your ongoing support for Kiriana. We love you all and thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Our little girl still has to finish off her 4 round of chemo (about another 6 weeks worth) and then maintenance for the rest of the year (at least). So thank you all again for sitting, walking and riding this long road to recovery with us.
Ngā mihi nui ki tā mātou whānau whānui kātoa mo ōu koutou whakaaro pai, manaakitanga, whakaponon tūturu, me ōu aroha ki a mātou. He tino hari koa o māua ngakau ko Anna i te wā nei. Kei te hati patitia e māua mo te kaupapa nei. Ka nui te aroha ki a koutou kātoa.
Ahakoa he iti, he pounamu ki tātou kātoa.
Ngā mihi
Kramer, Anna, Larni, Tutewehiwehi and Kiriana Ronaki |
