I would like to thank Nos (and Louise of course) for arranging an event recently to raise money to buy something for the Club in memory of my husband, Nigel. Thanks must also go to everyone who supported the event, and to those who couldn't come but still made a donation. An amazing £1,070 was raised.

Pete Beard is buying a TV for the members bar - a fitting tribute to a real "telly addict" and there is likely to be enough left over to buy something else. I understand that the TV may be in place for the Coventry game.

There are many things that make Bedford Rugby Club great - the support and care given to fellow supporters at times of terrible loss is just one. It is a privilege to be part of such an amazing "family". On behalf of myself, my daughter and granddaughter, and Nigel's mum - thank you all for the help and support you've given me over the last year.
