TRAVEL WITH THE FOLLOWERS

There can be no better way to enjoy Bedford Blues away matches in the Greene King IPA Championship this season than by joining the Bedford Rugby Followers Association on one of their coaches.

The Followers have worked tirelessly to support the Blues over the years and this season will be no different as they once again provide travelling fans with a cost effective way to get to every Championship game as well as B&I Cup fixtures.

It is always an excellent experience joining the Followers as they travel by coach around the country and an ideal opportunity to make new friends. Win, lose or draw, there is always plenty to debate on the way home as well as the chance to enjoy any raffle prizes that may have been won on the outbound journey.

Bookings are being taken for the three away Championship games in September and fans are being urged to book early to avoid disappointment.

On Sunday 6th September the followers coach will be leaving Goldington Road at 10am with Bristol as its destination. Cost for adult members is £20 while non-members are more than welcome to travel for just £23. Junior members travel costs £10 and it is £12 for non-members.

The second trip is to London Scottish on Saturday 19th September.  Departure from Goldington Road is at 10.30am with the cost being £15 for adult Members and £18 for non-members. Junior members pay £8 and non-members pay £10.

The final away trip is to former Premiership side London Welsh on Saturday 26th September. The coach will leave Goldington Road at 9.30am for the 1pm kick-off and will cost £15 for adult Members and £18 for non-members. Junior members pay £8 and non-members pay £10.

To book your space on the coaches please call Margaret Appleton on 01234 354708

The Followers are also planning a weekend trip down to Cornwall when the Blues face the Pirates in November. The trip will take place between Friday 27th and Sunday 29th and the price for coach travel and two nights hotel accommodation is £125 for adults and £100 for juniors. Anyone wishing to attend should contact Margaret as soon as possible.

Finally, the Followers are also looking to lay on a coach for any Blues fans who have tickets for the France v Canada Rugby World Cup game at Stadium MK on Thursday 1st October. Again, anyone interested in travel should contact Margaret.
