Don’t miss Paul Tupai's Testimonial Match this Sunday 6th May at Goldington Road between Blues Legends and Saints Legends (KO 2pm).

With star studded names on both team sheets to mark the retirement of a real rugby legend, supporters are in for a treat. Matt Volland and James Pritchard will head up the Blues charge against Dylan Hartley and Bruce Reinhana for Saints.

Supporters can join the Bank Holiday Party post-match in the marquee with live music and DJ, as well as mixing with the players and reminiscing over the memories. A live auction and raffle will follow at 5pm along with a Q&A with selected former players.

Tickets for the final Toops Testimonial event are FREE for Under 16 and just £10 for adults. All tickets are ground entry with no additional cost for Eagle Stand access which is permitted on a first come first served basis. Buy tickets here.

Rugby heroes will be in attendance on and off the field with plenty of entertainment on either side of the whitewash from gates opening at 12 noon. Catering will be available from Nos’s Nosh, Carbonis Award Winning Deli next to the marquee and an ice cream van for the good weather coming in!

Names already released in the Bedford side include Phil Boulton, Ben Gulliver, Josh Buggea, Ben Adams, Jordan Burns, Jacob Fields, Michael Le Bourgeois, Dean Adamson, Ben Whetstone and a couple of Tupai’s.

Whilst the Saints Legends will feature the likes of Soane Tonga’uiha, Jon Phillips, Ben Lewitt, Darren Fox, Mark ‘Sharky’ Robinson, Dan Richmond, Paul Diggin and James Downey. More stars will be released Sunday morning for the match. Tickets will also be available on the gate.

Speaking about his Testimonial and the match, Tupai said: "It is a huge honour for me as I’ve said, my Testimonial Match will be something truly memorable.

“I'm incredibly proud and humbled by it all to be honest, when I first arrived at Bedford, nearly a decade ago, I had no idea how much it would change my life.

"The match is shaping up to be a little bit special so hopefully supporters can get down to Goldington Road.”
