Celebrating his testimonial year, Pritchard is one of the longest standing members of the club having originally joined in 2001. Following three years at the club, Pritchard moved to Plymouth Albion, Perpignon and Northampton Saints before moving back to Bedford Blues in 2006. A former Blues captain, James’s successes on the field are clear for all to see and last season he overtook Andy Finney as the Blues all-time leading point scorer. This achievement was coupled with the international equivalent when he surpassed Gareth Rees’s record of 491 to become Canada’s leading point scorer. Pritchard is also set to feature in his fourth Rugby World Cup with the Canucks in September.
