Bedford Blues have named their squad to make the journey to Clifton Lane on Saturday afternoon to take on Rotherham Titans in what is sure to be an enthralling encounter (Kick Off 2pm).

The Blues head into the match off the back of a narrow four point defeat to Jersey Reds last weekend and know that they will need to up their game against a Rotherham side who are fighting tooth and nail to remain in the Greene King IPA Championship.

Bedford versus Rotherham fixtures have a tendency to be rip-roaring encounters and the Blues will be hoping for a repeat of their performance earlier in the season which saw them defeat the Titans 34-14 at Goldington Road back in early October.

Looking ahead to the game, Blues Team Manager Rob Crowle said: "Rotherham is a notoriously difficult ground to visit and they will certainly be buoyed by recent results following a tough first half of the season. But we need to focus on our game, use the hurt from last Fridays result in a positive way and re-ignite our Championship campaign. Whatever happens we know its going to be a toughafternoon at the office"

The Blues make a number of changes to the team that went down 29-33 to Jersey Reds last weekend with Will Hooley returning to the stating line-up following his recent appearances for the USA. Jordan Burns comes in at scrum half while Michael Le Bourgeois returns to the centre. Up front, Tom Lindsay starts at hooker while Ed Taylor comes into the second row and Josh Buggea takes a place at open side flanker with Alex Rae reverting to the blindside.
