Bedford Blues head into the sixth pool game of the British & Irish Cup knowing that a win over Nottingham will secure a quarter-final spot in the competition.

A hard fought 12-15 win over Ospreys in Port Talbot last Friday night meant that the Blues top Pool A and head into Saturday's fixture with their future very much in their own hands.

Bedford make seven changes to the team that faced Ospreys last week with Rich Lane and Will Hooley starting in place of the injured Ollie Dodge and Harry Sheppard while Lee Dickson starts at scrum half. Up front George Edgson and Alex Penny come into the front row, Ed Taylor returns to the second row and Alex Rae starts at openside flanker.
