MATCH PREVIEW V LONDON WELSH

With the season tally standing at one win apiece, Sunday's Greene King IPA Championship clash between Bedford Blues and London Welsh looks set to be a corker as each team looks to finish the regular campaign in style.

While the Blues will not be competing for a top four place this time around the former Premiership side will be hoping to finsih as high as possible as they look for an immediate bounce back to the top table.

The sides met on the opening weekend for the inaugural 'Double-Header' at Allianz Park which resulted in the Exiles claiming a 23-14 victory in a game that saw a player from each side red carded.

Back in November the Blues put in a monumental performance to pick up a 28-26 win but the spoils could have been shared had London Welsh successfully kicked a last minute conversion.

The performance - and the result - has probably been a highlight for Bedford who have endured a somewaht difficult campaign and they will be looking for much of the same when they head to Oxford for the third instalment of this seasons trilogy against the Exiles.

Bedford make a handful of changes form the side which started against Ealing Trailfinders last weekend with Mark Atkinson, Corey Hircock, Tony Fenner, Paul Tupai and Tomas Gilardon-PAz all coming into the starting line-up.
