MATCH PREVIEW V HARTPURY

It's Friday Night Lights once again as Hartpury pay a visit to Goldington Road in Round Ten of the Greene King IPA Championship.

It will also be the first ever encounter between the Blues and Hartpury with everyone at Bedford excited about the challenge ahead. The Blues battled back to overturn a ten point deficit to record a 25-25 draw at Castle Park against Doncaster Knights last weekend and will be hoping to go one better this weekend.

Hartpury have quickly established themselves in the Championship and despite a slight dip in form, no one will be taking them for granted come 7.45pm.

Looking ahead to the game, Blues player/coach Alex Rae said: "It was a hell of a game against Doncaster last week with the lead going back and forth throughout the afternoon. Coming away with a draw was a decent enough result, but we want to be winning games rather than having nail-biting finales.

"Hartpury have impressed everyone since winning promotion and they set up their stall in Round One with an incredible display against Bristol. They've adapted well to the Championship and no one is taking them lightly.

"The lads have trained really well this week and everyone is looking forward to a game under the lights at Goldington Road and I'm sure it's going to be a great game."

Elliot Clements-Hill returns to the starting line-up with Rich Lane returning to the centre while Ryan Hutler starts on the opposite wing in place of Dean Adamson who suffered a minor hand injury. Harry Sheppard is out with an AC injury, so Will Hooley gets the nod at ten. Up front, Camilo Parilli-Ocampo and Tom Lindsay come into the front row while Ed Taylor returns to the second row with Jordan Onojaife on Northampton Saints duty. Alex Rae also returns to the starting line-up with the team being captained by Lee Dickson.
