Bedford Blues have named their team to face Ealing Trailfinders in the semi-final of the British & Irish Cup this weekend.
Ealing have two wins over the Blues in the league this season, but only a single point separated the two teams when they met at Goldington Road at the end of December and Bedford will be looking to turn that deficit into surplus come full time on Saturday evening.
Looking ahead to the game, Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: "Everyone loves knockout rugby because absolutely anything can happen. The lads have trained really well ahead of this semi-final, everyone wants to show what they are capable of and we want to reach the final.
"We also know that a hell of a lot of fans are travelling from Bedford to Vallis Way with the intent of providing the 16th man and we'll be doing everything we can to repay them on the pitch for all of their support on Saturday and throughout the season. We’ve had a fantastic experience in this competition and we want that journey to continue."
Bedford make just two changes to their starting line-up for this knockout game with Lee Dickson starting at scrum half in place of Jordan Burns while Josh Buggea comes into the pack for Justin Blanchet.
