MATCH PREVIEW V BRISTOL

Bedford Blues head into Sunday’s Greene King IPA Championship play-off second leg knowing that they will have to put in a performance of Leicester City proportions to have any chance of reaching the final this season.

On Sunday, the Blues were well beaten 16-45 at Goldington Road by a clinical Bristol who ran in six tries to give themselves a 29 point cushion ahead of the second leg. But with no pressure on the Blues at all, the message from the coaches is simple - Go out there, express yourselves and do what Bedford do best.

Bedford make two personnel and one positional change from last week’s team with Ollie Dodge replacing the injured Tom Griffiths and Seb Nagle-Taylor getting the nod at openside flanker with Josh Buggea switching sides and Harry Wells moving to the bench.
