The Bedford Rugby Followers Association will be carrying out a number of tasks every Saturday over the summer months to help tidy up Goldington Road and improve the ground in the lead up to another exciting Championship season, and they need your help!

The Club are investing significant sums on a facilities project at the home of Bedford Blues in the off season, but need the followers to complement the work with an array of smaller jobs including painting, weeding and general tidying.

The first of these Saturday sessions will be this coming Saturday 13th June. If you can spare anytime at all, please come to the ground and ask for chief followers Phil Novis or Baz Townsend who will be leading the project with the Club.

There are plenty of jobs to do, but very common themes include painting and weeding so please bring any small tools you have that may be of help. All paint, paintbrushes, etc. will be provided courtesy of the Club and the main request is your time and support of the Club.

A selection of followers will be there from 8am to 1pm, but please come and go within those times if you can only spare a short time. Every bit of help will be greatly appreciated.

If it’s raining, there’s still a few jobs we will be able to do so don’t be put off by the weather - but do bring some sun block if the weather is as glorious as it has recently been.

Many thanks and hope to see you there #COYB.
