The Bedford Blues Community Rugby Department is excited to announce that the first of its rugby camps will be taking place in August.
The inaugural pre-season rugby camp will be open to players of all ages and abilities with boys and girls being welcomed to the sessions which take place over three days at Goldington Road.
Youngsters will be able to train as professional rugby players while also being put through their paces with a variety of drills including core skills, evasion tactics and fun-packed games all under the close tutelage of experienced players and coaches.
The rugby camp will take place between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th August with the sessions costing £50 for all three days or you can attend a single day for £20.
Speaking about the session, Bedford Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: “I’m thrilled that we are able to offer such a fantastic and unique rugby experience for youngsters in and around Bedford. We have a number of talented coaches as well as Bedford Blues players who will be on-hand to share their knowledge of the game during a number of fun-filled sessions and this will be the perfect kick-off to our Community Rugby Department.”
