HELP NEEDED FOR FIREWORKS CLEAR UP

The Bedford Rugby Followers Association Fireworks Display is being held this Friday November 1st. and is generally acknowledged to be the best display in this part of the country.

This means we will have a massive clear up job on Saturday morning so we are asking that anyone who can spare an hour or two to please turn up at the ground to give us a hand.

The first team are training at 9am on the main pitch and there is an Academy game vs Nottingham in the afternoon so the main pitch will be the main priority followed by the training pitch and surrounding areas.

Some specialist cleaning machines will be present courtesy of the council so what we really need is people who would be advised to use gloves of some kind.

The work will involve picking up all bits of firework debris with particular attention being given to the main pitch and anything that could cause injury to any player. We will be starting work at 7am but please turn up at any time after that if you can spare an hour or two. All help will be gratefully accepted. Ask for Baz Townsend or Phil Novis when you arrive. Many thanks.
