The Blues’ Followers will begin the big clear up this Saturday as they start to carry out a number of tasks every Saturday over the summer months to help tidy up Goldington Road and improve the ground in the lead up to another exciting Championship season, and they need your help!

The Club are investing significant sums again this year on a facilities project at the home of Bedford Blues in the off season, but need the support of the followers to complement the work with an array of smaller jobs including painting, weeding and general tidying, as well as some larger jobs headed up by chief Followers Phil Novis and Baz Townsend.

The first of these Saturday sessions will be this coming Saturday 4th June. If you can spare anytime at all, please come to the ground and ask for either Phil or Baz who will be leading the project with the Club.

Come rain or shine there’s plenty of jobs, but very common themes include painting and weeding so please bring any small tools you have that may be of help. All paint, paintbrushes, etc. will be provided courtesy of the Club and the main request is your time and support of the Club.

A selection of followers will be there from 8am to 1pm, but please come and go within those times if you can only spare a short time. Every helping hand will be greatly appreciated.

As pre-season approaches the Club will throw a mini party for continuous supporters lending their weight to the project, whilst being able to watch the first training sessions for next season’s squad.

Many thanks and hope to see you there #COYB.
