The Bedford Rugby Followers Association will be running an excursion in Cornwall this Saturday before the Blues match against Pirates on Sunday, and invite any supporters travelling to join them!

On Saturday 2nd December the Followers are heading to the picturesque harbour town of Falmouth, to not just enjoy the coastline and idyllic location, but cheer on Falmouth Rugby Club against Sidmouth.

Just as the Blues’ players will be preparing on Saturday for the clash against Pirates, the Followers too will be training for 16th man duties. The Chairman and President of Falmouth are very much looking forward to meeting and hosting Bedford supporters. The club opens at 12 noon and kick off is at 14:30. The Followers will be voting for and presenting a man of the match award.

Like the Blues, The Eagles (Falmouth) describe themselves as a proper rugby club – they have changed very little in their 144-year existence.

For those travelling with the Followers or staying in or around Penzance and Newlyn there will be a coach running from the seafront at Penzance (outside the Lugger Hotel). If you don’t fancy the rugby and want to go to Falmouth to look around this great town, Maritime Museum and picturesque harbour why not still travel with the Followers.

There will be a very small cost for the coach. To ensure enough pasties at Falmouth and to help calculate the cost of the coach it would be useful in advance if the Followers knew approximately how many people may be travelling.

Please confirm your interest by emailing asap.
