ALL YOUR FESTIVE FIXTURE DETAILS FOR THIS SATURDAY

After Friday’s defeat at the hands of league leaders Bristol Rugby at Ashton Gate, Mike Rayer’s men are focused on a revenge mission against Andy Robinson’s side as Bedford aim to record their second win over the champions elect this Saturday in the British & Irish Cup at Goldington Road (Kick Off 3pm).

The festive fixture is tantalisingly setup with both sides firmly in the race to the knockout stages, the winner will remain in pole position, whilst the loser faces an uphill battle with Ulster joint on points with Bedford on 9, whilst Bristol lead with 10.

Following strong home form this season the Blues will aim to bounce back from league defeat against Doncaster Knights, but will need their 16th man out in force to topple Bristol with some free flowing running rugby.

As well as the on field entertainment, there is plenty more in store off the pitch. Pick up a match programme on entry to the ground and head up to the Eagle Bar to sample the Christmas Guest Ale; A Good Stuffing or a pint of Bedford’s favourite Eagle IPA. Alternatively head to the Scrum Bar or Former Players to talk about the game ahead with friends and family.

Hospitality in the marquee is sold out, but we have one hospitality suite still available, email gareth@bedfordrugby.co.uk to secure one of the best seats in the house for premier hospitality.

New Guard of Honour Partner’s SSG Services welcome Bedford Junior Blues Under 7s this week, give them and the Bedford Bear a loud cheer as the teams run out this Saturday!

But don’t let the final whistle end your visit to Goldington Road, join us in the marquee post-game for entertainment with the players including the Man of the Match presentation and live music from Mark Calder as we get your Christmas party started.

Tickets are available online with a £2 advanced purchase discount, simply head to www.theclubshop.co.uk/bedfordblues.
